With the holiday season coming up many of us are planning to visit family and friends. According to Ayurveda, travelling increases the Vata qualities in us i.e. cold, dry, light. The sweet taste represents love, stability and warmth on a physical as well as emotional level and healthy warming sweets are good to have with you when you travel - preferably those you’ve made yourself!
Often our travel plans involve flying, which can be tiring at the best of times. So in this article I’m going to give you three of my top reasons why it’s a good idea to “go veggie” when you’re flying even if you’re not vegetarian!
